Paid £1536 for hyundai i10 engine with supposedly 61k miles...has done 300 miles used quarter dipstick of oil and as black as you would expect with a diesel...engine almost as bad as the one it replaced...guarantee not worth the paper it's written on as 14 day no way long enough...hugely disappointed ...and cost £400 to fit so £2000 down the deain...and the engine was from a Kia Pucanto

Don't recommed* On two occasions I've received quotes from this company for a silver Hyundai I30 bumper when I've requested. Both times, I've asked for pictures etc and they respond they have the bumper in grey not silver. The title of the request clearly reads it is in Silver. Waste of time.

Online enquiry for a Kia ceed engine. I was offered a 43k engine from a Kia soul which I was told was identical. Delivery was very quick however receipt didn't contain the engine number. I asked for an updated version to include this information but instead got a phone call offering the info. They gave the engine number also advised the vehicle registration this came from. On checking online it turns out this was a 55k Hyundai Ix35... Not what I was expecting. As it happens the engine runs ok, but I felt a little frustrated at not having been given the right details of what they were selling, I don't know the reasons for this. I always believe honesty is the best policy and am wary of those who don't follow this. Ultimately I'd have still bought the engine, just wish they hadn't lied to me Service: Part finding & extracting

I recently bought an engine for my Dacia Sandero. Engine is exacly as i was told by them. Low milage and spot on for my car. Guys are very helpfull. Do exacly what they say. My parts came 4 days late. They were damaged but they insisted it's wear and tear. Wouldn't show images until day of posting it where they Then noticed the damaged and sourced another car with less damage. Clips, brackets and light holders broken on rear bumper with deep scratches. They refused to take money off price.

Don't buy from them!!! I bought the part for my car. I've sent it back ( which they authorised it) with record delivery. I rang them few days after they received my return, about refund. They've confirmed on the phone, that they received it and they will refund money by end of the week, what was couple weeks ago already, and I still don't have my money back! These guys have delivered the goods. Needed a NSF door lock mechanism for my wife’s i20 which are no longer manufactured. With our car dead after the engine blew because of service errors, we had a low value engine-less car! With a simple enquiry online the recycle team messaged us with a quote and arranged collection of our car from over 200 miles away. Within a week of collection, our car was back up and running with a wonderfully ultra-low milage replacement engine. Additionally, other jobs needed were completed within the price. Don't worry about being many miles away, these folks ARE to be relied upon, to do what's needed...and at a crackingly good price...100% best value. Our engineers carried out a call out for the owner after discussing the job and that it should be an easy repair once arriving on site and carried out within the 30 minutes. Upon arriving the Engineer attempted a repair but the door had been damaged in a way that a small repair could not be carried out. After quoting on the remedial work a poor review was then posted without discussion.

After speaking with there sales team orderd the part required for my vehicle only to find over 2 weeks later that the parcel had not turned up spoke to there sales team again to advise that my car has now had to be taken of the road as i am unable to get a mot without the part. I was then informed that parcel force had collected the parcel and have since lost the parcel and offer an immediate refund when i asked is there not a chance they may locate the parcel the sales advisor advised me that we could wait 2 days but he doubts the parcel will be located and i shoulf try seeing if i could get the part elsewhere. Thinking somthing did not sound right i proceeded to call parcel force who informed me that RMS had requested collection however RMS did not have the parcel available for collection. And that if they had collected the parcel it would be scanned before it is loaded onto there van however no parcel no collection. So now i have to wait for a refund to be processed reorder with another company if the sales advisor had delt with this better my review would have reflected slight inconvenience with delivery nothing more. Very dissapointed and has caused nothing but stress i allowed more than enough time for delivery on an item that was never dispatched i would have understood if the truth was offerd rather than passing blame to delivery company. Very poor service

These guys think it’s ok to send out rusty parts that have severe rot and they just tell you once you receive it that the parts are from second hand cars. Surface rust is acceptable but rotted right through is not so after refusing to pay the return postage they refused to help me as according to them I obviously was looking for brand new parts. Rather than send out rotten parts why don’t you guys be honest when I specifically asked for non rusty parts and say you haven’t got any only rusty ones. Oh and by the way take a course on customer service as you are typically an example of money over customers. Go somewhere else is my advice and don’t listen to this companies lies especially when they keep changing their personal name every time you call them. Beware people and spend your money with a breakers that offer a decent buying service!!

Cannot thank Recycle motor spares ltd enough. Sourced and fitted a new engine, new starter motor and a full service to help revive my Veloster. Price wise, amazing value for money and they've given me 2 months labour and parts guarantee! What company does that on used parts? 5/5 from me! If that wasn't enough, they kept me in the loop and gave me updates throughout the 3 days they had the car. RMS - does this stand for Really Marvellous Service? It should! I had a new engine fitted by RMS and the work carried out was first class. What also needs pointing out is that the customer care was outstanding. I was informed of progress and kept in the loop of work being carried out. I was sent videos of the engine and its fitting and called about details. I even had follow up message to check if I was satisfied with the work done. I would totally recommend the excellent service provided by RMS and thank the team for their excellent service.

These guys literally are the best in the business! My engine on my Mazda 3 Sport decided to blow up.. they couldnt have been more helpful! They called me, gave me the best quote, arranged to collect my vehicle, sent updates regularly with pictures so we knew exactly where they were up too.. and to finish off, a mini valet, anti freeze and summer coolant.. full new engine replaced and fitted within just 10 days.. its like driving a new car.. Needed an engine replacement on our mazda mx5. Looked through all the garages on Internet and this place kept sticking out at us. We stay in Hamilton Scotland and decided to go with them even though they were 200 miles away. What a superb service. Phoned us every day on the progress. Told us car would be ready on the Saturday but was ready 2 days early. We arrived in Bury after a 4 hour bus journey from hamilton and the garage sent a car round for us at the bus station to pick us up and take us to our car. Karl couldn't have done enough for us. Contacted RMS Breakers in Bury towards the end of January 2017 regarding a replacement engine for my son's MX5 mk3 car, which had major problems. The lads rang me back and said they had sorced a replacement from a damaged 2010 model. Brilliant news. I agreed for them to replace the engine . A transporter arrived that afternoon to pick our car up. Superb service again. I left the car with RMS for around a week. They called me with regular updates and even sent a recording of the works being done to my phone. The car had been cleaned when my son and I arrived to collect last week. Excellent service at a good price. They contacted me after making an online enquiry about a replacement engine for my son's Hyundai i10. Quoted a price but then said that they could collect the car and fit the engine too. So on the Friday evening, the car was collected and on Saturday afternoon, the car was ready to be picked back up. Very happy. Good bunch of guys. Offered a 60 day warranty too.

Worst breaker EVER! STAY AWAY!!!! Placed order online 1st choice spares , waited 9 days and not received! Didn't hear from them so i called them to get an update - told that i was under-quoted for parts (their fault) and asked to pay more (i refused) so they said they will refund. (I needed the parts) So i paid the extra - waited 6 days and still no parts. Called again and was told that there was an issue with the initial payment. They never call you to keep you informed but are quick to take your money! Substandard service, unacceptable! The young lads that answer the phone don't listen to you at all, always disappear and put you on hold for upto 10 mins. They mock you when answering phonecalls with the accents they put on! STAY AWAY!!

Excellent service and more!I needed a new engine for my Nissan Primera 2005. The quote came back for a 50000 mile engine for £285..... when asked if they could fit....of course they could, very cheaply! Took it in last Monday afternoon, car was ready Wednesday and not only did they exchange the engine, but added the gearbox, clutch, CAT and sump frame from the same scrap car......now have a 50000 mile Nissan to replace my 150000 mile one! Customer Service and keeping you updated was superb and far better than you would get from a Car show room. Thank you Karl and Mark!

If you are dithering about trying to decide whether to take a chance then I would say go for it! These guys were really, really good. They were very efficient. They sourced me an engine, recovered my car 250 miles, didn't do extraneous work but did do what was necessary. I now have my much loved car back at a fraction of the cost to replace like for like. Karl is pleasant and helpful to deal with. Khan seems to know his stuff (this from a female who doesn't check her own oil herself!) he showed me the broken part on my engine and explained what to look out for in future. So, from a broken car worth nothing to a 'new-lease-of-life' car all within a week.The car runs beautifully and I would recommend them. I'm very glad I took the risk.
