Put a part request on breakers link, with the specific model number of the part needed. Oldham breakers rang me saying they had the part. I asked if its 100% the part i need and they said it was. So i bought it and it was sent to me, my mechanic took the part and it was the wrong 1. Contacted these cowboys and they asked me to return it for a refund which i did. Engine lasted one week didn't accept any responsibility for the engine or fitting of it. Had to take twice in the same day for overheating and then loss of power. Was very disappointed couldn't belive when told and how the delta with the whole situation. Now left with a van with the same problem and have to to take elsewhere. Even had our local garage to speak to them only reason I didn't take it there first was they were too busy. I would never recommend them even if it was the only junk yard left.

They will not take any responsibility for the cost of extracting their product which was not fit for purpose. Rude staff, refusing to refund although it has a 3 month guarantee. sent me a (suppose to be low mileage) used engine for a Nissan Navara which lasted 20 miles before the new timing chain they had fitted failed, they did replace this although it took 3 weeks, i also had to cover all the cost of replacing the engine again, cost of replacing all the gaskets and lubricant's again!, we have now fitted the replacement engine which has multiple oil leaks and will take a a further 12 hours to put this engine right, i would advise you stay clear of this place. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Where do i start!! in Oct last year my husband ordered a Toyato yaris wing mirror only to arrive it wasnt the right one not a problem my husband spoke to Nicki theyd resend and collect the next day, their mistake but they had one in stock we waited nothing delivered nothing collected. Numerous phonecalls later to be told they never had one to begin with so why you were told that he didnt know! and that they didnt run there business like that!! and that she was going to be sacked they had had a few complaints against her we were told by Shareef to send the other one back for a refund. Wasnt happy obviously but he agreed to pay for the delivery costs back as it was their mistake sent him a screenshot of return cost £10.50 then it was sent back. Numerous phone calls later after being told Nicki was the only one who could authorise it and that she wasnt there that day well any day come to that!!!. The saga went on then they were changing banks and the card machine wasnt working and that they were waiting for new ones and then the new one didnt work!! ........ Eventually and i mean eventually £60 is put back in our bank not the £72 we paid or the £10.50 return charge...Phone call after phonecall promised two weeks ago it was being done right now and here we are fobbed off again just spoke to Ali Shareef is no longer there got rid off and Nicki has been on and off not there and is the only one who can authorise it!!!!!!!!!! Joke is not the word!!!! Dont use this company its just not worth it they haven't got a clue about customer service or professionalism. My experience of Oldham Breakers is pretty much identical to Shirley’s below: I ordered a Toyota Yaris wing mirror from Oldham Breakers for £72 after speaking to Shaf and Nicky in October 2021. They assured me that the part they were referring to was the correct one for my car before I placed the order. When it arrived, it was the wrong part so I called and spoke to Shaf; he said he doesn’t have the correct part as he said my original wing mirror was “a strange one” - the wing mirror on my car is the original part from the Toyota manufacturer so not sure why he thinks it was strange! He accepted that he had sent me the incorrect part and said I could send it back for a full refund and would also cover the cost of the return postage. I sent it back paying £6.20 for the postage. I waited a week but didn’t receive my refund so I called to find out why; Nicky told me she had processed it and I would receive it in a few days. Another week passed and I still didn’t receive a refund. After 3 phonecalls, they refunded me £60, but the remaining amount never came through. After a further 15 phonecalls to Nicky, where she kept coming up with really silly excuses, I ended up raising a dispute through my credit card company and finally got my money back last week. Every time I called up, Nicky and Shaf had a different excuse – the card machine is broken and they’ve ordered a new one, the new card machine arrived and that is broken aswell, Nicky is the only one who can process refunds etc. What if Nicky left the job…who would process refunds then?? Each time I called, Nicky would say that she has processed the refund whilst on the phone but clearly she hadn’t because I never received anything. Very strange bunch of people who love lying to their customers. It’s so unprofessional and they clearly don’t have any customer service skills.
