Back in October 23 I ordered an Audi A1 steering pump. The order arrived very quickly and well packed. Unfortunately the motor in the pump had seized and blew the main fuse, couldn't be helped, no accessible moving parts to check before installation. The absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Called on Friday was told it’s too late in the afternoon call first thing Saturday morning for a part enquiry. Call on Saturday to be told they cant remove the part with it being a Saturday. Call today on Monday “ we’ll go check for you and call you back in 5 minutes” I call back over an hour later and the guy on the phone acting brand new like he has no idea what I’m talking about. Then go’s when we have time we’ll call you. Absolute scumbags steer clear selling dodgy parts, claiming false mileage on them then saying they cant guarantee the mileage so why say its done that in the first place. Stiff as hell thing barely spins and leaked oil, Apparently this was tested. And they have a technician that checks these parts, yeah right. a rear differential that apparently had 16K on it yet came looking like a dinosaur fossil. Obviously do not want like for like as company lied about condition to start with so how can they be trusted again, they cant. Clown show. Again, steer clear.

Didnt deliver the £2000 gearbox i paid up front for. A month later (20 days after should hav been delivered) they tell me it was "cancelled" a week ago. No refund given either had to go via my bank to get money back - dont use these theives! edit: company have been in touch and offered to "return the favour 10 fold" for leaving a poor review. Still no offer to refund so gone to bank for it.

Not a good experience from business and customer point of view ordered engine and paid for in august in full was given lead time 10 working days, did not receive until October 01, two months later upon calling in to find out where is my engine they kept telling me engine is in test bay being tested and then o the rear crank seal back order with dealers. I called the dealer who had 85 in stock at warehouse clearly not telling the truth finally when engine arrived sump was cracked and rear crank seal damaged. I had asked for a refund i was refused and told i would lose 50% of my payment when asked for compensation for the in supplying the engine which caused myself and my customer who relies on the vehicle to earn his daily bread to feed his family great stress and trauma.

We ordered 2 gearboxes from this company and paid online since 10th of July. After 21 days of waiting, They cannot find our order. they blame the delivery company for the unending delay. they don't take responsibility for their actions. everytime we call them to get and update they would be rude and promise to find where our parts are and get back to us. Till date no one in the company has bothered to call us back. After 21 days of delay and being lied to, we requested our money back and they told us that they would deduct 20% handling fees. Meanwhile, they still cannot tell us where the parts we bought from them is. We have had a horrible experience with this company. We bought goods worth over £4000 and they treat us like garbage. If we suceed in getting our money back, this is a company we will avoid buying anything from. We now looking at ways to make a complaint against them so we can get our money back. Please avoid for your own good.

Fantastic customer service and very knowledgeable sales team I found out about Motors in Motion when i put out a parts request via 1stChoiceSpares for a replacement DSG gearbox for my scirocco. The sales team got back in touch with me very quickly saying that they had the gearbox in question with the correct code etc. I phoned them up and the employee who picked up was very knowledgeable and knew what we were talking about, sent me photos of the car that the gearbox came out of, and generally answered any questions that I had. (I had a lot so sorry if i was annoying!) The gearbox was then purchased and it arrived to my door on a pallet via courier very quickly. The gearbox was then fitted by the garage, but we ran into an issue whereby my starter motor didnt fit the bellhousing on the new gearbox. Thinking I would have to buy a new starter I contacted motors in motion and they sent me out a compatible starter motor with next day delivery for free which was absolutely fantastic To top it off the DSG has a 6 month warranty Highly Recommend these guys for spare parts, will deffo be using again if i need parts Josh

PLEASE DO NOT purchase any expensive car parts from this company. DO NOT be fooled by WARRANTY POLICY it means NOTHING to this company. I withheld from writing this review to give time for the business to deal with the situation but to no avail here I am, if i can prevent another person going through what I have went through then at least something positive can come out of this horrible experience. I have honestly never experienced customer service like this. I bought an engine which apparently was tested prior to purchase to ensure satisfactory quality, however once fitted into the car it was proven otherwise. I was reassured that all parts were checked prior to sale, however when discussing the problems during a phone call, it was said that parts CAN NOT ALWAYS BE CHECKED. These parts belong to cars that have been involved in car collisions and accidents so the likely hood of damage is higher, hence the need to check and test working condition prior to sale. The sump was taken off by the mechanic to check for problems and shards of metal were present. I contacted the company to be told I am not entitled to a refund as the mechanic had touched parts of the engine he shouldn’t have. This is an absurd yet clever tactic they will use to rob you of your money, they apply green paint to certain nuts and bolts on the engine or part they sell and then if that has been touched they refuse to take it back… even if they know they sent you a faulty engine! Their faulty part cost £1800 to fit and remove.They did say they would replace the engine but could not provide me with even a rough idea of when this would be. I was given unacceptable excuses such as ‘the boss is in a baby scan’ or promises of a call back to no avail. Over a week past my car was on the mechanics ramp costing him money and I was £2700 down and still had no car or engine. I had a family member return the engine in person due to getting no where on the phone after 10 days, they got very high rated and refused to take the engine back or replace it and even called the police on my family to avoid taking responsibility and dealing with the situation in a professional manner. I purchased this item on klarna and payed £300 upfront, the payments have been paused for 2 months whilst klarna reviewed evidence from both parties. Apparently motors in motion have evidence of damage caused to the item, however a bolt being unscrewed is not damage. Klarna recently contacted me to continue the payments based on the agreement that motors in motion have agreed to send out a replacement, however when I contacted them regarding this replacement they said they would not be sending one. Therefore they expect me to pay £900 for a faulty engine that they now have back in their possession. ABSOLUTELY OBSURD YOU COULDN'T WRITE IT! Trading standards and a solicitor in place as I am no longer willing to let such disregarding customer service slide, businesses such as motors in motion should be held accountable for the customer service they offer and the lack of ability to follow company policies. DONT DO IT! It is much better to wait a little longer for a car part from a local and reliable dealer than to use businesses as such that have no value or morals in the way they offer customer service.

I bought a car mask and it turned out that it is not what I need and then I wanted to return it, but they did not want to take it back and they scared me with the police if I did not leave their property, I do not recommend buying any parts from this store!

I purchased a rear subframe from them and after fitting took the vehicle for a 4 wheel alignment. This was unable to be done as during removal of the subframe they supplied the toe and camber adjustment lugs had been ground off leaving me with a part not fit for purpose. There reply was to pay my local garage to remove it again so as to take photos and leaving them with a vehical stuck on a workshop ramp until motors in motion decided what they would do and then pay AGAIN to have another subframe fitted. They think I have an endless supply of money but I don't. I have a long term health condition and need my vehical but this doesn't matter to them as they have been paid. AVOID USING THIS SUPLIER AS PARTS ARE NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE! I will now take this matter up with trading standards.

Beware! Don't buy anything expensive from them. They won't take any responsibility if you found the item damaged / broken. Recently I bought a bare engine from them that I found damaged. They took the engine back but refused to refund a single penny. I have registered a complaint with trading standards and also consulting my lawyer to sue them in a day or two. Please don't loose your hard-earned money to these fraudsters . Very very disappointed :(

Bad company stay clear cdl engine 3 weeks to post told it had 26k more like 150k Terrible service even found broken up oil baffle in the sump after there so called health check So can't be trusted I will not even waste my time fitting it £1500 loss

Be very careful - we sold an alloy wheel to these guys via eBay, value approx £600. Claimed item damaged and initiated a return (what actually happened, was they purchased another full set online and wanted to send mine back, buyer remorse!) - which is bad enough in itself, however they then returned an empty envelope with the eBay return tracking info attached - no wheel - clear case of fraud. The case has been forwarded from the eBay trust and safety team to ActionFraud - in nutshell, I wouldn't trust buying anything from these guys with any significant value. Read the other reviews too. Oh, and then they had the cheek to leave neutral feedback on eBay....!

I received a first class service from the lads in the spares department from my initial phone call and chat with them on a late Friday afternoon, right through to receiving a very well wrapped package on the following Tuesday morning. Due to the difficulty in obtaining a replacement brake servo either new or used, I was very pleased with the outcome. I recommend this company and certainly put them up for a 5 star service.

If I could leave 6 stars I would. I drive a 12 year old Audi A6 c6, and they are a life/car saver. Excellent service, delivered before time. For added reassurance, my local Audi repair centre happy to fit used parts from this company. Every part ordered has arrived on or before time, always within 24 hours of ordering and always the correct part, never a problem. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone in need of genuine, refurbished parts. Without them my car would have been sold/scrap. As I love it I cannot thank them enough for keeping it and me on the road.

Received a mirror this morning with the indicator lens cracked. My mechanic opened the packaging in front of me at 4.45pm and showed me immediately that the item was damaged. Immediately contacted MotorsinMotion who have no accepted responsibility of sending damaged items even though I provided the image. I gave two options, either a partial refund so that I can source the indicator lens on its own or a full refund whereby I send the product back. They have suddenly gone ghost …. Currently in motion to take this further with legal advice and using both the nest cctv of my home and my mechanics front yard cctv which shows the item being opened. Think twice before using this seller!

Avoid this company at all costs. Bought a ‘reconditioned’ Audi s3 engine that was supplied with faults (metal filings in engine and timing codes), called these jokers to be told to remove the engine and send it back (at my cost), very unprofessional outfit who couldn’t understand why I was upset when I called at spending £3000+ and refused to even accept they had the engine back. They have tried to sell me a broke product and keep the money. I have to take the matter further to get a refund . Very badly ran and incompetent business
