The Evolution Of The Megane
The Megane was initially introduced in 1996, and has had three incarnations since. Each version of the Megane is drastically different from the previous model. The Megane I was quite sleek with soft lines, whereas its successor the Megane II, had much sharper lines and a rear end people either seemed to love or hate. The latest version of the Megane has seen a return to the sleeker lines of the first Megane, but now with a far more purposeful look.
Renaultsport have sprinkled their performance magic on much of the Renault range, and the Megane is no exception. There have been a few different versions of the Megane RS, as well as special Trophy editions. The Trophy editions are race designed versions of the road going car, whereas the RS versions are available to the general public, and have always been popular with hot hatch fans.
