Returns Summary

Incorrect or Faulty Parts In the event that parts are supplied incorrectly or damaged and returned within SEVEN days of purchase, these parts will be refunded IN FULL plus the cost of postage, but unfortunately any labour costs incurred in the fitting of faulty/incorrect parts cannot be claimed. Return postage will be arranged by 1st Choice Car Spares Ltd, if the customer returns the part at their own cost without informing us, we can only refund what it would have cost us. Any claims for goods damaged in transit will be taken up with the Carrier concerned. Refunds to customers must be made within 7 days on receipt back at depot of the goods. Any extra postage for items shipped overseas or specified Next Day/AM/Before Noon deliveries will not be refunded. Parts sold correctly a) In the event that a part is supplied correctly but the customer had made an error whilst ordering that part, this must be returned within 7 days of purchase to the supplier. Postage charges will not be refunded. b) In the event that a part has been ordered but is subsequently cancelled before dispatch, 1st Choice Car Spares Ltd must refund the customer but can charge a cancellation fee of 10%. c) Refunds to customers must be made within 7 days on receipt back at depot of the goods. d) We will endeavour to provide pictures of all body parts prior to dispatch and describe them to the best of our ability. We do supply used parts so blemishes / scratches are to be expected as they are sometimes unable to be pictured. e) Overseas postage will not be refunded. f) We will endeavour to send pictures of any part where there is more than 1 option of part for your vehicle. It is on the onus of the customer to clarify if it is the same as the one on their vehicle. If an item is received as per the pictures supplied but it differs from the item on the customers vehicle it shall be returned at the customers’ own cost. Engines a) For clarification purposes, all engines sold via 1st Choice Car Spares Ltd are sold without ancillaries. Parts such as Starters Motors and Alternators etc. are considered Extra and supplied at the request of the customer at extra cost. (Unless included with them) b) Customers must state if ancillaries are required, If request has been made, stating complete engine wanted, this means head, block and sump, it does not mean with ancillaries as these may be sold separately, Any ancillaries left on the engine i,e water pump & cambelt are given free of charge and are not covered by this guarantee c) All customers are informed that all engines should be filled with new oil, when installed in the vehicle. d) Customers are recommended that a new Cam / Timing Belt should be fitted when installing an engine. e) When a surcharge is being made for customers old engine, customers MUST be informed at the time of sale, customers must also be informed that a surcharge of £250 will be taken if the engine has not been received by the breaker within 7 days. Gearboxes a) Automatic Gearboxes will be sold complete with Torque Converter. b) All gearboxes should be filled with new oil upon installation in vehicle. Postage a) Due to the fragile nature of glass and the uninsurablility by certain couriers, glass is supplied at the purchaser’s own risk and refunds are not always possible. b) if the customer is not in when delivery/collection is attempted, they will incur a further delivery cost Data Protection Act All information provided via 1st Choice Car Spares Ltd is in accordance with the Data Protection Act, therefore information can only be utilised by registered members and no information can be passed on to any 3rd parties. The information cannot be used for purposes other than contacting the customer regarding sale of products that have been requested. This information must only be used to call/email customers relating to products being sold by ourselves. This also includes payment details/card numbers which must be stored in a secure place.
