A Long Standing Partnership
The Fiat Ducato started being developed all the way back in 1978. It was part of a joint venture between Fiat and PSA Peugeot Citroen. It was finally released three years later in 1981. Since this time more than 2.6 Million have been produced under the guise of Fiat Ducato, not accounting for all the other ones that have been produced and feature the model name of other manufacturers.
One Van, Many Faces
Despite also being sold as the Peugeot Boxer, Citroen Jumper, and Ram ProMaster, the Ducato also finds itself being used for a variety of purposes. It has found a home amongst many of the ambulance services throughout Europe. Its base is also the most common base for motorhomes in Europe, whether in the guise of the Ducato Campervan, or one of its other incarnations.
