The Stylish Option

The Alfa Romeo Mito is designed to compete directly with the likes of the MINI and the Audi A1. The stylish supermini certainly holds its own in the looks department, sharing similar styling as its older brother, the Giulietta. The underpinnings aren’t too shabby either, with the MiTo sharing the same platform as the Corsa and Grande Punto.

A Name From The Customers

When the Mito was in the design process it was referred to as the Junior. Alfa Romeo run a Europe wide competition to name their newest supermini. The winner was Furiosa, which went down well in all countries except Spain. Despite this competition Alfa Decided to designate their own name, MiTo, which is a combination of Milan and Torino, and is also very similar to the Italian word mito, meaning legendary.
