Item delivered was not the Part No. ordered. Spoke to Tristar and as agreed returned the item .Item was returned and received back by them at 8.15am on the 31st July 2020. To date 11/09/2020 have received no refund or contact from them . DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY !!! Update on 30/10/20 - now 3 months since item returned for refund but not received as promised. AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF !!!!! UPDATE 08/08/2021 Never received refund TRADING STANDARDS need to be informed about this company !!!

Absolute waste of time. As a breaker yard / online seller of used Mercedes’ parts, the owner was totally uninterested in selling to me. I called up as it says on the website on a Thursday to enquire about some specific parts, explained the car they’d take them from was up on the racks and it was raining so didn’t want to go look. Said they would call me by Monday. Had no call. I booked a day off from work for the next Thursday as it wasn’t meant to rain and he doesn’t open Saturdays because “people waste his time on Saturdays” in readiness to go and collect and pay, phoned them up for a third time and owner lied that they’d called me but couldn’t tell me when he did. “The parts are not on the car”, but I think he realised it takes more than 5 mins to remove them. Annoyed but moving on, I said ok well I do have some other bits I’m also looking for and I can come down today still - “no we’re not set up for people to buy certain items”. What a shame. I’ve used them before a few years ago and they did exactly what they say they now don’t do? I could have had parts sooner but wanted to be a returning customer. Pointless working with these clowns.

Sadly there isn't the option to leave a no star review, they sold me a faulty SAM module for my car, which when I asked for a refund or replacement they said they would replace it. They literally ran down the 90 day warranty time and then ignored my communications after this. No refund and no replacement part anywhere to be seen,, complete rip off merchants. All I can say is if you're thinking of buying from these people don't!

Highly recommend. I contacted to Mercedes who wanted nearly £900 for this fan and Tristar wanted just £198 for the identical product. Staff were very helpful, if I am honest I called to discuss delivery and I was rude/ignorant when I spoke to the person on the phone (I had a very bad day) nevertheless Tristar staff maintained their professionalism 5 STAR - 10/10 Service Highly Recommend

Purchased a used seat belt from this company. I was assured it was in perfect working order. Only after paying my local garage to try and fit the belt did they realise a critical part had been cut through. I returned the part after speaking with Tristar. I was promised a refund but after two recorded delivery letters and after 4 months I have received nothing. I am £145 out of pocket. If you run a business of this nature you must be prepared to take parts back and refund. I don’t know who has written all these rave reviews maybe Tristar have. I recommend you do not use this company there are plenty of others out there who will give you better parts with better guarantees. I just don’t like being taken for a ride. I have not even had an email, a phone call or a letter from them, just silence . Do you want to do business with these kind of people?

It was a used part as advertised, in full working order and very reasonably priced indeed. Dan Jackson is a top bloke. Right up start I was stuck with a broken engine and looking at a hefty repair bill for my Mercedes C240. Right off the bat Mr. Jackson is being as helpful as he could be re-assuring you that everything's checked the engines running in great condition and was fully checked before disabling. They also delivered the part to me for an inclusive price, not like some companies that won't help you at that stage. Got it by next week and arrived in perfect condition, it was obvious it had been treated with great care. Everything's fixed now and it's thanks to this man/ these people. The man is a go-to parts man. Highly recommended!

Bought 2 front plastic inner wheel arches from Tristar and was very disappointed! When I opened them , both were broke! One was cracked and the other practically in half. Phoned them up to let them know and get a replacement and was told " can't replace them until you send the broken ones back and we check them! Already paid £10 for them to send out so wasn't paying another £10. Think I've lost enough with Tristar Recycling!
