Ordered a spare wheel and a tool kit for my MG HS They sent me on WhatsApp a photo of the front of the wheel and when I requested a photo of the tool kit they said: its just a jack & brace; When I received the items I noticed that the back of the wheel is deeply scratched and the jack that they sent does not lift my car enough (on the jack is written: for VW golf, Skoda Octavia et; + the brace is too big for MG s HS wheel nuts M & m Auto Salvage, Halifax ARE MISLEADING CUSTOMERS AND ARE NOT PROVIDING INVOICES (WHICH IS A LEGAL REQUIRMENT)

A completely unprofessional business and lack of knowing their own policies. I bought two car parts from this garage, a door and a wing. It is listed on ebay as “grey” and under the mark 7 golf there is only 1 “grey” I bought this with cash upon their request and i had taken this home to realise that it was in fact the “grey-silver” and not grey. I immediately called them back as it had only been 5-10 minutes and the owners son had advised that i was able to take it back however a small fee for their time for taking it off which is fair. However upon arrival, the owner himself came out, and straight away came out saying “we dont accept returns”. This companies policy is to accept returns based on the fact if they get something wrong which they did with the listing. When i told the owner its listed wrong, he said he didn’t even know there are other shades other greys!!!! How are you running a salvage company and incorrectly listing the colour of the car. He then proceeded to walk out whilst i was talking to him and said “ill leave you stuck with it”!!!!!! Stay away from this dodgy business who are selling parts with incorrect names/colours etc. because once you buy it, they blame you for it even though its their fault! They dont even have any courtesy that people are paying expensive prices for parts which are listed wrong! Now I'm stuck with 2 parts which are the incorrect colour!

Poor service, brought off eBay, and paid for it to be shipped a certain way, they did not ship it this way (because I was apparently too far away) but at the end of the day that's not my issue, the item arrived damaged, and subsequently needed a full respray (and filling the deep gauges in the paintwork) when I contacted them for a partial refund (I was very reasonable seeing the item arrived a week late, damaged and not by the mothod of transport I paid for) they refused. Very poor service, ideally do not use. Brought parts from other provides previously that have arrived damaged, they were apologetic and always offer a refund or replacement part-how it should be done.

I purchased 2 x Nissan Juke doors from eBay sold by this company. Firstly they sent me one faulty and damaged door, and one OK door. When I asked to return both doors I was told they would collect the damaged one, but I don't have a 'justifiable' reason to return the other door and that I would have to pay for a courier to take the other one separately. Their customer service was horrifically rude, not once did they APOLOGISE for SENDING ME A DAMAGED DOOR. Both doors were returned on a Wednesday, luckily I was in touch with their courier who confirmed this. When I asked on eBay if they had the doors back, they LIED AND SAID THEY DID NOT. It took a screenshot of the text from the courier stating he had in fact delivered them for my refund to be issued. I can't speak for other's who may have had items which have been undamaged, as I'm sure it would have been an OK experience, nothing mind blowing. Their courier was amazing, delivered on time and returned my items in a timely manner. My refund was settled with half the shipping cost deducted for the return of the OK door.

Disgusting service , I buy a lot of parts though salvage company’s and this place is the worst by a mile. The guy I spoke too clearly needs to take a telephone course on how to deal with customers , he was rude unhelpful , and when I asked his name he wouldn’t give it to me. I then looked up the directors details to make a complaint and the same individual told me that the information on companies house was wrong and then the director had left since. Be very aware before giving any money over. Looking at the other reviews it’s clear that they have a bad reputation for this.

I've spoken to Mahmood, about some parts my nissan juke, received a quote and made payment. I was told my delivery will be the following day, I called in the morning the following day to ensure the delivery was sent out, at this point Mahmood told me the payment was unauthorised and I should contact my bank and send him my ID, I did just that the bank said the payment had gone through with no issue I went on my online account and sent him a photo that the payment was made successfully, called him up to ensure he received my WhatsApp showing confirmation of payment he placed me on hold for over 5 minutes to check his WhatsApp. He then came back and said I will receive my delivery next day once again, waited for the entire day, no delivery. Called up parcel who had sent me the notification because I thought the problem it was problem with them only to be informed that they haven't received the package from M&M. That's an entire week wasted by a waste man and his poor customer service will never use them again and will make sure no one i know use them.

AVOID they will rip you off and the customer service is appalling asking what car?? 5 times then said they don't have the car called again and apparently they had 50+ of them ridicules. Very Arrogant

AVOID! My experience was the same as many other unhappy customers on here. They sold me a faulty DPF pressure sensor and when I contacted them they claimed it was some other part that was faulty. I would not recommend these guys to anyone. Stay far from them

They don't deserve any stars, this is the worst business I have seen. Total dishonesty from the start with false promises about item condition. I will be taking matters further and have also reported this to Trading standards. How on earth can you do business like this, seems like they have swindled many customers over the year. Not long before your cheating catches up with you guys!!!!!!

My mistake - I should have read the reviews about this foolheaded company prior to purchase! They sell your faulty parts with fictitious warranty and refuse to help. Absolute waste of time and effort, no idea how they are still trading but hope Trading standards will follow up these complaints. Stay clear of these clowns as you will only regret any contact. Finally they seem to have erroneous assumptions about business so guess there response to my comments will be hubristic and untrue!!!

Ordered some tweeters and the trim covers for my audio upgrade for my civic! When the order arrived they had sent me the wrong part,(Sent me a standard stock 6" speaker"😂)no idea how they could get it wrong as they are two very different looking things but hey mistakes happen! Gave them a ring, they were really good and resolved the issue and sent it the same day and got it the following day! Customer service was good. Pretty reasonable prices for the quickness on delivery but I would recommend always checking with your local dealer 1st if you got time as I found it was cheaper for a new part!

I wanted a touch screen display unit for my Honda CR-V and after searching the internet I came across M&M Autosalavage in Halifax. I spoke with them on the phone and they offered a reduced price for a replacement unit as advertised on their site. I asked if they could possibly help me to obtain the necessary numbers off the fitted unit and the gentleman immediately said they would.I travelled to their premises and I cannot praise them highly enough,I dealt with three employees and I found them all, polite, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. They removed my old unit, did a search of their stock to find the right replacement and fitted it with the upmost care. I would not hesitate in recommending this firm and these people to anyone requiring Honda Parts. I extend a heatfelt thank you to all at M&M.

If I could mark no stars I would. They lie to you and sell products to you that aren't compatible. They accept no responsibility for any problems or try to put things right. They blamed late delivery of the part on an employee's partner having cancer. Just sick. So glad I bought through paypal.

Just read the other reviews had I read them first I would not have purchased. However, I speak as I find. The guy was very knowledgeable about our year CRV. We purchased a second hand part that has now been fitted by someone else and is working. The service was fast and efficient. I did purchase by credit card for additional guarantee.

Needed parts for my car, luckily these guys are Honda specialists and had in stock the parts i needed. They were very helpful and knowledgeable in finding the right parts required for the year, make and model of my Honda. The parts are fitted now and i have not had any problems whatsoever. it's good that all parts have a 30 day warranty though, just in case. One thing i got to say is these guys don't haggle on price, what your quoted is the price. Still saved me a packet on what the dealers quoted me so it was worth it.

Sorry had to put one star this person bought phone of me wasnt happy with it so he was refunded the money back didnt send phone back ..then had cheek to ask me send postsge which i did and 8 weeks later still no phone he has sent me random tracking numbers of must be parts that he has sold this company is con artists please avoid i have fraud people onto him lets put a stop to him doing this again

Stay clear if buying online these guys lie about parts they claim they have to get your cash then send you something else hoping you won't go through the trouble plus you will end up paying for postage. Here's how it works Dave in sales says yes we have the part you are looking for and its off the latest car but it's the last one Once you buy the part and wait days for it to arrive to find out its nothing like you ordered. This is when co owner Mahmoud steps in and refuse to pay postage. 1st choise has a lot to answer for putting these con men forward. If you have unrecoverd monies from these clowns or have incurred extra cost then join me in small claims court

Sorry, had to put one star - but deserves negative stars! The most terrible customer service ever received. Ordered a spare door for a Honda Civic they promised the best one that they had..... - It was in worse condition than the one we needed to replace. Called and was told that I had to send it back and they would arrange a refund..... but we had to pay for the postage - which wouldnt be refunded... Avoid at all costs - total bunch of cowboys!!

DO NOT take anything they tell you at face value, if you are thinking of buying a car from them, get a full AA/RAC inspection beforehand. I recently bought a Mazda 3 from them, I was told the car had suffered only panel damage, nothing structural, this was a LIE. The front strut in the engine bay had been heated up and straightened on a jig. I asked if the radiator had been damaged in the original accident and was told no, the radiator wasn't touched. This was a LIE. The car has been fitted wih a brand new radiator and fans, why do that if there was no damage to the original one.? I was told the car had a full MOT, but when I checked, the MOT is until the end of September. When I challenged them about this, I was told they meant it had had a full MOT pre check and had passed with flying colours, this was a LIE. The car failed an MOT on the headlight aim being too high and the wiper blades being worn. The headlamps had broken brackets but instead of replacing the lights, they had tried to fix them with sealant. I was told that if I had any problems, or wasn't entirely happy with the car, I could return it for a full refund, no argument, no questions, this was a LIE. The car is supposed to have a heated windscreen with sensors for automatic wipers and headlights, however, it has only a standard screen. They said that was the screen that was in the car when they got it but couldn't produce photos of the car to prove this. I asked them to replace the windscreen with the correct one, they refused. After finding the problems with the car, I took it back and asked for a refund. They proposed to replace the headlights but nothing more, again I said I wasn't satisfied with that and wanted a full refund. They refused to pay up and told me to take it to court if I want to recover my money. They have probably done this time and again, knowing that most people won't bother as it will be too time consuming. They are SCAMMERS, keep away, They get one star because it won't let you give a zero, I'd give a minus if possible.
