By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms & conditions. Title to the goods shall remain with us until paid in full with cleared funds.

Parts purchased will comply with the Sale & Supply of Goods Act 1994 and be of "Satisfactory Quality" unless specified at the time of sale.

Customer is responsible for ordering the correct part, when part number is supplied.

Each part will be checked for condition and tested where appropriate before leaving our premises. We are however reliant upon considerate handling by our courier company.

Parts will carry a minimum guarantee of 30 days and only parts shown on your invoice/receipt are covered by the guarantee/warranty.

Warranty is usually effective from the date of delivery.

Any faults that become apparent after fitting must be notified as soon as possible after you become aware of them.

This guarantee is void if any part supplied is used for any purpose not intended by the manufacturer, Improperly maintained, Disassembled or damaged, Over heated, Not properly installed by a qualified mechanic or has been tampered with in any way i.e seal broken, taken apart etc. Please note all parts supplied, are marked with our company stamp/initials, removal of these marks will invalidate your guarantee/warranty.

No parts may be altered, modified or dismantled in anyway (except for routine service adjustment) without our permission. Failure to comply with these terms will invalidate your guarantee/warranty.

We will not be held responsible for incorrect installation, if a third party, arranged and paid for by you, the customer, installed the goods.

If any part proves to be faulty during this period, it may be returned to us for an exchange. If no exchange is available within 48 hours a refund will be given.

In the event that a part is supplied as ordered but the customer had ordered incorrectly, we must be contacted immediately and the part returned to us within 7 days of purchase at the cost of the customer.

All body panels (Doors, bonnets, bumpers, boot lids, wings, quarter panels etc) and glass are NOT INSURED as standard. You may wish to take out ADDITIONAL INSURANCE with us, which will be explained at the time of purchase.

Delivery

The delivery on all orders is typically Next Working Day. Order must be placed before 1pm to give the best chance of dispatching same day. Although every effort will be made to achieve this, certain parts that are not easily removable or already on the shelf, may be sent the next working day instead.

We always aim to dispatch items quoted as being Next Working Day delivery on the day payment is processed, subject to the order being placed before our deadline. We cannot however be held responsible for goods not delivered on this basis by a 3rd party courier.

Delivery is a separate contract and once completed is non refundable.

All goods should be inspected thoroughly upon delivery before signing to ensure that the item has not been damaged during transit. Refunds are not always possible for goods that have been damaged whilst in transit.

The words unexamined or unchecked on the delivery note/docket are not acceptable. We will not be held responsible for the refund of goods damaged in transit if they have been signed for in good order.

If goods prove to be damaged, do not sign, refuse delivery & contact us before 4pm on the day of delivery. This is to ensure that if necessary, a claim can be made against the courier company. If we do not notify the courier company on the same day, there is no chance of processing a claim.

In the event that the delivery driver does not allow time to inspect the goods sign the Delivery Note to obtain them, but delete any wording in the signature box to the effect that the goods were 'Received in good condition'.

You must notify us about the loss, damage or delay within 7 days after delivery of the shipment or within 7 days from the date the shipment should have been delivered in order for us to make a claim with the courier.

Returns

Goods once signed for are to be returned at the Customers expense.

Refunds will only be made upon the return of the goods to our premises.

Refunds may take up to 5 days to appear on your statement from the date on which they were actioned. The method of refund will typically be the same as that used to pay (credit card payments cannot normally be refunded via cheque or cash for example).

Each part will be checked for condition and tested where appropriate, upon return.

For all items to be returned under any circumstances, it is the customers' responsibility to keep them in a safe environment & return them in as near to the same condition in which they were supplied as possible.

Engines & Gearboxes

Engines that knock excessively or develop excess blow by or excessive oil consumption within 90 days after the date of purchase will be repaired, replaced or refunded.

Accessories which may come on an engine such as fuel systems, distributors, electronic components, manifolds and water pumps, sumps etc., are NOT WARRANTED. Timing chains, timing belts and damage due to their failure are not covered.

Gasket and seals need to be replaced before installation. We do not guarantee oil leaks. External gaskets and seals are not warranted. They need to be inspected and replaced if necessary before installation. If engine is overheated, warranty is void.

Cylinder Heads are guaranteed not to be cracked or warped when purchased. Cams, valves and lifters are not guaranteed.

All A/C Compressors must have the A/C system flushed to remove any contaminants and the proper oils and Freon to be used. Also, the A/C system needs a new filter, dryer and orifice tube when installed.

Transaxle and differential are guaranteed to work properly. We recommend gasket and seals to be replaced before installation. We do not guarantee against oil leaks.

Engine, transmission, cooling systems and A/C systems must be flushed to remove contaminants

Warranty is voided if the part(s) are not returned to us in the same condition in which they were sold, or do not bear the identifying marks which appears on all Motors in Motion LTD parts.

Customers must state if ancillaries are required. If request has been made, stating complete engine wanted, this means head, block and sump, it does not mean with ancillaries as these may be sold separately, any ancillaries left on the engine e.g water pump, cam belt are given free of charge and are not covered by this guarantee.

All engines & gearboxes will usually be drained of all fluids for carriage. It is the customers' responsibility to refill prior to use as any damage incurred as a result of not doing so will again invalidate this warranty.

All engines purchased must be fitted with a new timing belt/cam belt/chain and filled with new oil upon installation, and maintained & adjusted by a qualified technician. Failure to follow this procedure will result in the guarantee/warranty being rendered null and void.

Gearboxes must be filled with new oil upon installation. Failure to follow this procedure will result in the guarantee/warranty being rendered null and void.

"Exchange Unit" means that you pay a lower price for the part we supply, in return for you part-exchanging your existing, corresponding item. A refundable surcharge may be required at point of sale, which will be refunded within 5 days of us receiving the exchange unit.

THIS DOES NOT AFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS

You have the right to cancel this contract if you wish, within seven calendar days starting on the day this Notice of the Right to Cancel is received by you.

Cancellation should be communicated in writing or by message. Notice of cancellation is deemed to be served as soon as it is posted or sent to the trader, or in the case of message from the day it was sent.

1) Each part will be checked for condition and tested where appropriate before leaving our premises. We are however reliant upon considerate handling by our courier company.

2) All parts MUST therefore be inspected for damage in transit upon arrival, BEFORE you sign for them - even if this means keeping the delivery driver waiting. We can NOT exchange or refund any parts damaged in transit if you or your representative (friends, family, neighbours etc) sign for them as being in good order. Signing for the goods as �unchecked� is not acceptable.

3) In the event an item is found to be damaged, it is your decision whether to either refuse delivery so it can be returned to us, or sign for as �damaged� and notify us of the damage within 48 hours.

4) Acceptance of delivery of the goods shall be deemed conclusive evidence of the buyers' acceptance of these Terms.

5) Title of goods shall remain expressly ours until paid for in full.

6) Warranty is usually effective from the date of invoice.

12) �Exchange Unit� means that you pay a lower price for the part we supply, in return for you part-exchanging your existing, corresponding item. A refundable surcharge may be required at point of sale.

<b>Returns</b>

1) It is our policy to firstly replace incorrect or faulty items before we refund.

2) Please note that to avoid the �trial & error� method of repair, ECU�s & electrical items will only be exchanged or have a credit note issued against them. any new parts ordered in stock may not be returned .

3) Refunds may take up to 5-days to appear on your statement from the date on which they were auctioned. The method of refund will typically be the same as that used to pay (credit card payments cannot normally be refunded via cheque or cash for example).

4) Customer is to pay carriage on any parts returned, unless an alternative arrangement has been expressly agreed by ourselves.

5) We need to have received all relevant parts (whether correct, incorrect or faulty) back at our premises for inspection before we can make the appropriate decision to either replace or refund.

6) It is the customers� responsibility to send items back via either recorded or special delivery means in order to obtain a tracking number and signature - proof of postage is not the same as proof of delivery.

7) For all items to be returned under any circumstances, it is the customers' responsibility to keep them in a safe environment & return them in as near to the same condition in which they were supplied as possible.

8) Orders cancelled after dispatch & parts wrongly ordered/ correctly supplied but no longer wanted may be subject to a handling charge/ restocking fee, be only eligible for a credit note or be refused altogether.

9) Multiple orders which contain one or more incorrect items will be offered a replacement or refund for the incorrect items only � not the whole order.
