Terms & Conditions
1.1) Parts purchased will comply with the Sale & Supply of Goods Act 1994 and be of "Satisfactory Quality" unless specified at the time of sale. Parts supplied are used parts and therefore ï¿½satisfactory qualityï¿½ will be determined dependent on the age, and what would be reasonably expected. All parts are supplied in good faith, and have not been reconditioned prior to sale.
1.2) Parts will carry a minimum guarantee of 30 days, and only parts shown on your invoice/receipt are covered by the guarantee/warranty.
If any part supplied by Intapart proves to be faulty during the warranty period, it must be returned for an exchange. If no exchange is available within 7 days a refund will be given.
1.3) Intapart will refund the invoice value in full for any faulty items but will not pay for any fitting/removal charges. It is your responsibility to check that any part(s) supplied are correct prior to fitting.
1.4) Any part(s) correctly supplied by Intapart and returned to us within 7 days will be subject to a 30% handling charge at the Managers discretion. Carriage charges are non-refundable. Refund will be issued by a credit note valid for 12 months.
1.5) Whilst Intapart will endeavour to supply the colour specified, Intapart does not guarantee paint colour or shades. Parts returned as a different colour will be subject to a 30% handling fee. A customer accepts that any part ordered will not be the correct colour and has allowed the cost of painting in the decision making process before purchase. Images of the part can be supplied on request prior to purchase.
1.6) This guarantee/warranty is void if any part supplied by Intapart has been tampered with in any way i.e seal broken, taken apart etc., beyond that required to install the parts.
1.7) Please note all parts supplied by Intapart are marked with a security marks, removal of these marks will invalidate your guarantee/warranty.
1.8) No parts may be altered, modified or dismantled in anyway (except for routine service adjustment) without Intaparts written permission.
1.9) Failure to comply with these terms will invalidate your guarantee/warranty.
1.10) Electrical items which have been fitted to the vehicle will only be refunded if faulty, providing that the fault has not been induced from the vehicle to which it has been fitted.
1.11) If you did not order your goods in person at our premises, your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods. If you wish to cancel your order this must be done so in writing, and sent to our offices. This notification must be received before the expiry of the 14th Day after receipt of the goods. All electrical items are excluded from return unless proved to be faulty prior to dispatch.
Our Warranty covers the parts documented on the invoice only. It does not cover any labour charges, Loss of use, or associated costs from any fault arising from the fitting of invoiced items.
ALL ENGINES ARE DRAINED OF ALL FLUIDS PRIOR TO DESPATCH. THESE FLUIDS ARE NOT SUPPLIED, AND WILL REQUIRE REPLACEMENT BEFORE RUNNING.
2.1) Intaparts engines are sold as long bare unless otherwise stated on the invoice, meaning head, block and sump. Ancillaries (ie starter, alternator PAS pump and Aircon pump) are sold separately. Customers must state if ancillaries are required. A customer acknowledges that ancillaries and other components may be required to be exchanged on the supplied engine to match the vehicle if supplied long bare.
2.2) Any ancillaries left on the engine e.g. Water Pump, Cam belt, Injectors are given free of charge and are not covered by this guarantee/warranty.
2.3) Seals and sensors if attached to the engine are not covered by this guarantee/warranty, are supplied by Intapart free of charge.
2.4) All engines purchased must be fitted with a new timing belt/cam belt/chain (if applicable) and filled with new oils / fluids upon installation.
2.5) The installation must be completed by a competent tradesman.
2.6) Failure to follow this procedure will result in the guarantee/warranty being rendered null and void.
2.7) Engines are supplied with a warranty of: Invoice value up to ï¿½400 ï¿½ 30 days
Invoice value of ï¿½401+ - 60 days.
2.8) Extended warranties are subject to the Managers discretion, and must be confirmed in writing.
3.1) Gearboxes must be filled with new oil upon installation. Failure to follow this procedure will result in the guarantee/warranty being rendered null and void.
3.2) Automatic gearboxes must be fitted by automatic specialists.
3.3) Seals and sensors that are supplied on the gearbox by Intapart are free of charge and are not covered by this guarantee/warranty.
4.1) All goods should be inspected upon delivery before signing to ensure that the item has not been damaged during transit. If goods prove to be damaged, do not sign, refuse delivery & contact us within 24 hours. This is to ensure that, if necessary, a claim can be made against the courier company.
4.2) In the event that the delivery driver does not allow time to inspect the goods, sign the Delivery Note to obtain them, but delete any wording in the signature box to the effect that the goods were 'Received in good condition'.
4.3) Goods once signed for are to be returned at the Customers expense.
4.4) In the event that a part is supplied as ordered but the customer had ordered incorrectly, we must be contacted immediately and the part returned to us within 7 days of purchase at the cost of the customer. Refunds in his instance will only be made upon the return of the goods, in the same condition, to our premises with a 30% handling charge.
5.1) If the item that was incorrectly ordered differs from its original state, no refund will be given, incorrectly ordered electrical items will not be considered for refund only a credit note will be issued.
5.2) Intapart accept the following methods of payment:
a) Credit/debit card
b) Bank transfer
All refunds will be processed back via the original payment source.
5.3) Parts purchased by credit / debit card or by PayPal from Intapart for delivery can only be sent to the registered card/account holderï¿½s address.
5.4) Customers wishing to collect items from Intapart directly will be charged a sum equal to 25% of the total amount before removal in cleared funds, and are then required to provide the same payment method upon collection to complete the transaction.
5.5) Title to the goods shall remain with Intapart until paid in full with cleared funds.
5.6) The purchaser agrees that they will indemnify Autogreen Ltd from all consequential costs/ losses including but not limited to Fitting/removal cost, costs relating to loss of use, storage etc. Autogreens limit of liability, and recoverable costs against Autogreen Ltd shall not exceed a sum greater than the total value of the invoice.
5.7) We will not be liable for any loss of income, loss of profits, loss of markets, loss of reputation, loss of customers, loss of use, loss of an opportunity even if we had knowledge that such damages or loss might arise or for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages or loss howsoever arising including without limitation breach of contract, negligence, wilful act or default.
5.8) We are not liable if we do not fulfil any obligations towards you at all as a result of:
circumstances beyond our control such as (but not limited to):
acts of god including earthquakes, cyclones, storms, flooding, fire, disease, fog, snow or frost;
force majeure including (but not limited to) war, accidents, acts of public enemies, strikes, embargoes, perils of the air, local disputes or civil commotions;
